First, I’m reviewing the French Pearl groove White not the ice blue like it says here. I had the same set of Pfaltzgraff grapevine pattern dishware for over 30 years. I was ready for a change. I love these dishes. They’re heavy. The glazing is beautiful. And I love the little pedestal on the bowls. I didn’t get the mugs because I don’t need mugs. But this really elevates the appearance of my table… Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo yet. I’ll add one later. Bowels are practical size for many different use (soup, rice, cereal etc), big plate is perfect size for dinner plate, small plate is good for dessert or side dishes. Not too shiny, slight shape and different prints on small plate only give the set versatile look with whimsical change. Packaging was well done, no damage there.
