Fun fact it makes an appearance on the rookie hahaha if you watch the show. Mugs were in dishwasher so no pics, but I lvoe them because they are extra large (larger than typical sets) and they are very sturdy. Doesn’t chip or break easily and trust me we are very clumpsy. Id gotten this to match the rest of the sets I had. I put 4 sets on my wedding registry, but gifted 3. Since getting this set, Ive already put this to the test microwave and dishwasher friendly. Very versatile and functional. The plate is very large. It's a dull black. This could be used for a very large meal, with multiple items or even as a serving dish. All the others are ceramic, see closely on second picture, very attractine pattern. The very large pasta dish could be used for a large pasta meal, and you could put garlic toast on the side.
