[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to past slow cookers models I’ve had, this one is much more uniquely designed. Set up is more than easy and there aren’t a bunch of miniature pieces to clean. Personally I clean mine after each use instead of allowing the food to sit so it doesn’t create that harsh buildup around the edges. The best part about the slow cooker to me is the auto warming feature. Past appliances I’ve used, some would require that I manually change the temperature. I don’t feel pressured to have to check my meals every 5 minutes since the feature is in place. The party dipper is a hit too! It’s makes just the right amount of dip or sauce so that none goes to waste and you can also remove the inner bowl as well. Perfectly sized to create meals for the largest of family holidays.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Programmable Stay or Go Slow Cooker from Hamilton Beach works awesome. I love that it's a large 7 quart size because when I use a slow cooker I love to make extras so that I have leftovers. I recently cooked a pot roast in it and was able to throw in lots of carrots and potatoes because of its roomy size. This model has a unique feature of a locking lid and it's great for traveling so that nothing spills while it's in the back of your car. The lid is really nice quality and has a rubber ring around it so you can get a nice seal while cooking. It's easy to program and start in the morning so you have dinner ready later that evening. The BLACK+DECKER™ 7-Quart Digital Slow Cooker with Temperature Probe + Precision Sous-Vide gives you three ways to cook. 1.) Classic slow cooking is simple in the 7-quart stoneware crock. Just add in the ingredients and let the low, constant heat go to work on roasts, soups, chilis, and so much more! 2.) Use the temperature probe to achieve ideal results on a variety of proteins. Just set the desired temperature, insert the probe into the meat, and the slow cooker will do the rest. 3.) For restaurant-quality results without the hassle or guesswork, use the Sous-Vide Function. Just arrange single servings of food inside the resealable bags, set the time and temperature based on what you’re cooking and the level of doneness you prefer, and then insert the temperature probe into the water. The sous-vide method helps prevent overcooking by heating the water that surrounds the food, bringing it to the desired internal temperature. When slow cooking, three heat settings give you options to find the best temperature for your schedule—Low for 8-9 hours of cooking, High for 3-4 hours, and Warm for keeping food at the ideal serving temperature. Plus, cleanup is easy thanks to the dishwasher-safe stoneware pot and tempered glass lid.
