Set up is more than easy and there aren’t a bunch of miniature pieces to clean. Personally I clean mine after each use instead of allowing the food to sit so it doesn’t create that harsh buildup around the edges. The best part about the slow cooker to me is the auto warming feature. Past appliances I’ve used, some would require that I manually change the temperature. Well....I have had Nesco 18 qt roaster for 20 yrs...I needed to replace it. I really like the semi-oval design of this new one..and the lid is domed higher than my old ene. Loves this crock pot. Its a nice size for a family of 6. This crockpot works better than any other one ive every owned. I say that bc it gets hot. Almost burnt my meatballs on high for 4hrs. Lol. I got this nesco roasted form Wayfair. I use it on Thanksgiving day and it works great my turkey came out so good and moist. it can roaste a turkey 18 pounds and other meats also.
