They wipe clean in a heartbeat.. we have spilled everything imaginable on them and they simply do not stain! The color is right on and exactly what I wanted , you cant tell what they are made of until you actually go up and touch them.. these look like high-quality heavy linen placemats and these were a fraction of the price that I saw in the home stores in the mall ..the shipping was free, I actually purchased two sets of these because I love them so much, you cannot beat these , they lay flat and because of the weight of them I can actually set my table hours before we sit down and I do not have to worry about them flying away!
