Cooking and sharing food is interactive and performative. Handcrafted in the US, each piece of collection and possesses subtle variations, providing the perfect stage for culinary explorations to be experienced.

I bought this bowl in white, and it looks lovely on my counter, to hold my fresh fruit. It would also make a nice serving dish for a cooked veggie, or for some cheese and crackers or fresh veggies for an appetizer for a small group. I like that it isn't round and symmetrical...the shape adds interest. It's very sturdy, and not seemingly fragile. It would make a pretty gift (hostess gift?) because it will go with anyone's decor.. There is stoneware and then there is stoneware. Our Stoneshard dinner service is real stoneware because extremely skilled artisans cut, sand, and polish it from real river stones. The plates and platters are polished smooth on both sides, the larger serving trays and bowls retain the textured stone on the sides with smooth bottoms. You can wash Stoneshard in the dishwasher but we recommend you hand wash to retain the hand-polished surface. Perfect for the paleo diet, a sweet indulgence, a picnic, or a formal dinner party.
