A revolutionary Moka that combines the technology developed by illycaffè and the design experience of Alessi. Designed by Michele de Lucchi, Pulcina encapsulates a small but substantial design innovation that stops dispensing the drink at the right time before the coffee gets a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma of this drink. The spout, which recalls a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker) allows it to perfectly stop the drop.

I get many compliments of this coffee pot. It’s sitting on my stove. It makes good coffee. Also it doesn’t match up correctly when it’s put together on one side that’s the only thing I don’t like about it. I wish I would’ve sent it back for another one.. Vicki. US. Mon Feb 09 2026

Designed by Michael Anastassiades, the Menhir espresso coffee maker has an absolute line. The name Menhir immediately brings to mind the power of a form with great emblematic presence: “long stones” carefully positioned in the landscape, probably associated with religious ceremonies or other rituals, the menhirs inspired this iconic tool, used for one of the most important modern daily rituals; that of making coffee. Dedicated to those who appreciate exquisite manufacture: A real workshop gem.

This is a good, aluminum mocha pot. I give it four stars because the first time I washed it, there was some unidentifiable black residue. It also doesn’t maintain it’s shiny silver color.. Jenice. Washington, Dc. Sat Sep 23 2023

With the invention of the stovetop espresso maker, a staple of Italian cafés and bars became available for home consumption. As the cold water in the lower chamber heats, the pressure from its boiling forces the water up through the coffee grounds. In just a few minutes, espresso emerges from the spout into the upper chamber as the pot hisses and gurgles. Remove the pot from the heat and let it stand until the lower chamber is releasing only steam. The lower water tank holds a metal filter and features a safety valve. The upper tank fills with perfectly brewed coffee. Now Italy's favorite Aluminum Latte Stovetop Espresso Maker can go to work in your kitchen, making delicious espresso on gas or electric stovetops.

Modern espresso machines can be confusing and messy to use. An easy solution to these more complicated modern electric espresso machines is a stovetop espresso maker. This hot espresso maker provides a simple and classic method of preparing espresso, brewed on your own stove in just minutes. The design of this stove-top espresso maker features a traditional eight-sided shape that allows heat to diffuse perfectly and heightens the flavor of your favorite espresso blend. To use, start by filling the bottom of the stovetop espresso maker with fresh water and place the metal filter back on top. Fill the filter with well-ground espresso and screw the top of the metal espresso maker onto the bottom. Next place the home espresso maker on your stovetop on medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Now it is ready to serve however you prefer. With a heat resistant handle, you can easily carry it around the room. The stove espresso maker has a double flip top that lets you easily pour your espresso into a cup.

The first one leaked, but the replacement works like a charm and I'm saving a ton of money on my espresso shots now. I like that I can take this pot with me, like a teapot, for a refill rather then having to go to a machine to make another shot. It does taste a little different than what my coffeehouse's machine produces, but not enough for me to be bothered and am very happy with my purchase :). Joanne. San Francisco, CA. Thu Oct 08 2020

I had been searching for an affordable stovetop espresso pot with n stainless steel. Don’t like aluminum and possibly it’s toxic over time, some studies suggest. This pot is solid, hefty, good looking, and the wooden handle is a great solution to avoid burning fingers. Tried my first potful this morning, the coffee was delicious. Easy to clean, great price. I will probably order a few more for presents. One minus: where can I get the right size gasket for future need? They don’t last forever. Not featured on your website. Otherwise, a great buy..
