[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to past slow cookers models I’ve had, this one is much more uniquely designed. Set up is more than easy and there aren’t a bunch of miniature pieces to clean. Personally I clean mine after each use instead of allowing the food to sit so it doesn’t create that harsh buildup around the edges. The best part about the slow cooker to me is the auto warming feature. Past appliances I’ve used, some would require that I manually change the temperature. I don’t feel pressured to have to check my meals every 5 minutes since the feature is in place. The party dipper is a hit too! It’s makes just the right amount of dip or sauce so that none goes to waste and you can also remove the inner bowl as well. Perfectly sized to create meals for the largest of family holidays.. The BLACK+DECKER™ 7-Quart Digital Slow Cooker with Temperature Probe + Precision Sous-Vide gives you three ways to cook. 1.) Classic slow cooking is simple in the 7-quart stoneware crock. Just add in the ingredients and let the low, constant heat go to work on roasts, soups, chilis, and so much more! 2.) Use the temperature probe to achieve ideal results on a variety of proteins. Just set the desired temperature, insert the probe into the meat, and the slow cooker will do the rest. 3.) For restaurant-quality results without the hassle or guesswork, use the Sous-Vide Function. Just arrange single servings of food inside the resealable bags, set the time and temperature based on what you’re cooking and the level of doneness you prefer, and then insert the temperature probe into the water. The sous-vide method helps prevent overcooking by heating the water that surrounds the food, bringing it to the desired internal temperature. When slow cooking, three heat settings give you options to find the best temperature for your schedule—Low for 8-9 hours of cooking, High for 3-4 hours, and Warm for keeping food at the ideal serving temperature. Plus, cleanup is easy thanks to the dishwasher-safe stoneware pot and tempered glass lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is simple to use and heats well. The stainless steel base is lightweight and sturdy with a single nob that turns to Low, High, Warm and Off. It comes with a glass cover that fits well with the ceramic base. The black ceramic base is heavy, with a glossy finish that makes it easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. I used a plastic crockpot liner also and was pleased to see that it worked well without melting or leaking. The ceramic heated evenly and my food cooked well without burning. I've had trouble with slow cookers in the past cooking too fast and drying out my chicken. So I made chicken noodle soup, low and slow, and found the chicken cooked perfectly juicy. Then I tried a fast cherry dump cake on high and it turned out very yummy with the cake batter cooked golden on top. I've also tried a favorite meat and cheese spaghetti dish cooked low early in the day and then used the warm setting to keep it the perfect temperature for dinnertime. It has a 6 quart capacity, which is great for feeding a hungry family of 4-8. There is no digital display so it will stay on the setting that it's cooking on until you turn it off. I would recommend setting a timer next to it so you don't overcook anything. Overall, this is a great staple slow cooker to have for every day family cooking. I am reviewing this product in exchange for my honest opinion.. Redpiratequeen_108. Tue Jan 20 2026

For the cook who is busy all day but wants a home-cooked dinner at night, a slow cooker is the answer. And with the Set and Forget Programmable Slow Cooker, technology takes a big leap forward from the outdated slow cookers found in yesterday’s kitchens. In addition to offering modern convenience, the Set and Forget Programmable Slow Cooker has three choices for easy, automatic cooking: program, probe and manual mode. On busy days, program the cooking time and Set and Forget Slow Cooker automatically shifts to keep warm when the cooking time is up. Cooking a large cut of meat like pot roast, chicken, or pork tenderloin? Insert the probe, set the desired meat temperature and the Set and Forget Slow Cooker automatically shifts to keep warm when the temperature is reached. For traditional slow cooking, manually select the high, low or warm temperature without setting a cooking time. For “one-pot” simplicity, nothing beats slow cooking. But when it comes to bringing hot meals to parties and potlucks, spills can be a concern. With the travel-friendly Set and Forget Slow Cooker, messes aren’t an issue. When you need to take your home-cooked meal on the road, the Set and Forget Slow Cooker’s clip-locked, secure lid has a tight seal to help ensure that your shirt and your car arrive without a messy spill. In or out of the house, the Set and Forget Programmable Slow Cooker not only makes slow cooking easy, it has travel neatly wrapped up.

Simply set the programmable LCD screen digital timer for up to 20 hours and your food cooks slowly on its own, bringing out all those delicious flavors. If you end up staying out longer, the automatic keep-warm function kicks in and keeps your food warm for 6 hours, so it’s ready to serve whenever you’re ready to eat. The insert shouldn’t be used on a stovetop or in an oven. The stainless-steel lid retains heat and moisture to maintain the perfect texture and the integrated riveted handles let you take it from countertop to tabletop and use it as its serving dish. 6.5 quarts is a big enough capacity to feed the whole family and entertain your guests during holiday celebrations.
