Does the work. Although not in the description it can be used with a power drill. The manual cranking is too slow and not practical. The template is difficult to use overhead with the installation and although works with 16” joists the instruction did not explain. The screws provided is too large for 1.5” actual joist width and does not feel right but overall does the job.. Sm. Mississauga, ON. Sun Sep 06 2026

This is shelf unit isn't great. This is a nice, sturdy shelf once it’s assembled. The shelves are deep and provide plenty of storage space, and the finished product feels solid and well made. The only downside was the assembly. I’ve put together many pieces of furniture from Wayfair and other companies, and this one was more challenging than most because many of the parts weren’t labeled. I found myself comparing the pieces to the instruction diagrams, but several looked very similar, making it difficult to tell them apart. I actually had a friend help me identify some of the parts before we could continue. If you don’t mind spending a little extra time figuring out the pieces, the end result is definitely worth it. Once assembled, it’s a sturdy, attractive shelf with plenty of storage space.. Victoria. Chesapeake, Virginia. Mon Aug 03 2026
