Aqua & Blue Trivets

Crafted from the same legendary enameled cast iron as Le Creuset cookware, the 9-in. round signature trivet protects surfaces from heat and condensation. The clever footed design elevates hot dishes, platters, and cookware above counters and tables while also allowing air to circulate underneath. Silicone pads on the feet provide a stable base and help protect surfaces. Note: Do not place this product in an open flame or directly on any heat source. When used as a surface protector, some heat transfer is possible and should be used with caution on vulnerable surfaces such as natural wood, polished or lacquered wood, plastic table coverings, or cork-backed table mats.

Very nicely made, surface is straight, no dips or bulges, colors are vibrant. Yes, it is textured, that is the nature of this type of pottery. These artistic paisley chargers are multi-functional, unique, and colorful! They work beautifully as placemats, a centerpiece on dining table or entry hall table, statement piece in the kitchen, and functional trivet. These are true works of art! Crafted from fine New Zealand wool and azo-free dyes using age-old hand-felt techniques. Handmade in Nepal by a Fair Trade women's cooperative. Size: Each coaster is approx. 13.75 inch in diameter Care: Spot clean as needed. Do not machine wash or dry. The Art of Felting: The first step to creating these beautiful felt pieces begins with gathering some of the world’s finest sheep’s wool from New Zealand. Making felted wool is an ages-old, time-consuming process of bonding fabric with fiber. This is a physical job where the artisan’s scrub, rub, roll and rinse the wool again and again with soapy water. Once the wool is bound into a sheet and the desired thickness is complete, the felt is laid out to dry. From there, the felt wool is cut and re-worked into many complex shapes and designs. The many sheets of wool might merge several colors to create patterns and layers. This takes a well-trained, talented artisan and is a true labor of love. The end results are colorful, one-of-a-kind textiles that are stunning to behold.

The felt piece is just as described. Well crafted and will be perfect on my round dining table as the centerpiece with a candle on top…also from Wayfair.. Anonymous. Tue Mar 18 2025
