The Viking Stainless Steel 2.6 Quart Whistling Tea Kettles feature a 3-Ply base for even heat distribution that results in faster boiling. The elegant look includes a cast stainless steel handle that is riveted onto the pot for a lifetime of security and a comfortable grip while pouring and filling. The Viking Kettle is the perfect stove top accent for any kitchen and works on all stovetops, including induction. Featuring a classic design, these tea kettles bring a timeless look to any stovetop. The kettle body and spout are built with 18/8 stainless steel that is non-reactive and easy to maintain. Because the kettle is surgical grade stainless steel, it won’t impart metallic flavor into your water so you can enjoy the full-bodied flavor of your coffee, tea, instant soups and more. A thick aluminum core embedded in the stainless steel base heats evenly, allowing water to reach the boiling point more quickly than traditional kettles. The magnetic stainless steel base works on all cooktops, including induction. The Viking kettles include a glass lid that offers visibility into the heating progress for anyone that wants to debate whether or not a watched pot boils faster. Being able to see the progress of the water as it nears a boil also allows you to turn off the heat when you want to enjoy beverage that benefits from a temperature that is just off-a-boil. The levered one-touch spout includes a heat-resistant silicone cover and can be open and closed with a thumb or single finger. The spout's melodic whistle alerts you to when your water is ready to serve. Depending on how much water is in the kettle and how long it’s been boiling, heat may transfer to the handle, especially with gas stoves. Please be sure the lid is tightly seated in place before heating. Gas stoves heat more of the kettle itself, allowing the heat to travel through the body of the kettle into the handle much quicker, eventually becoming too warm to grip without protection. We always recommend using a hot pad or other protection when lifting a hot kettle until you know how it responds on your particular stovetop. This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. The kettle comes with a cover for the handle-you will appreciate it…the handle gets very hot.. Darcy. Chico, CA. Mon Aug 31 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very, very pretty stainless steel modern tea kettle. If you are looking for some modern vibe in the kitchen, go with this. The capacity is very generous. It takes about 10 minutes to cook hot water and you will hear the whistle. The only thing I would mention is the mirror looking may get dirty easily compared to other shade/finish. Aura is a really great item and also a gift for home.. Qianw. Sun Oct 11 2026

I love this tea kettle. Only thing is the lid has a protrusion knob that is wooden painted silver. The knob on the cap is extremely loose and cannot be tightened. Noticed today that the knob has actually split in a couple of places. The product has a 5 year warranty and inadvertently I purchased a warranty as well. Can I have the cap replaced?. Peter. Bulbul is a perfect induction hob kettle imagined in the rounded shape of a curling stone: it presents a new way of handling this object, almost as if to suggest an invitation to play by sliding it across the kitchen surface. Bulbul reveals Achille Castiglioni's extraordinary ability to transfer qualities and functions into a project from objects belonging to entirely different spheres. This game of transfers has often resulted in the equally famous ironic dimension of many of his works.

The 9091 kettle has a melodic whistle made of brass in a shape that has never been seen before and consists of two small vents in which the tuners that reproduce the notes mi and si are inserted. Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood remembrance, the poetic sound of boats' sirens at the River Rhine: This is because the melody that accompanies the vapor outlet must be pleasant and not anxious like the whistle of boilers. This induction kettle is a polysensory object that will not interrupt an enjoyable break with a whistle but with a captivating melody.

"Michael Graves kettle is recognized all over the world as an icon of contemporary design, thanks to its mix of pop and postmodern styles. To mark the kettle’s 30th anniversary, Graves has redesigned the whistle, transforming the little bird into a fascinating mythological and futuristic creature: something in between a dragon and a flying dinosaur. Symbolizing strength and fortune in Chinese culture, the dragon was chosen as a good luck charm for the kitchen.

Beautiful, sleek design and a nice weight to the metal. I took off one star because the dragon on top is just plastic. Pretty disappointing because that’s what sets this kettle apart from others. Otherwise it’s a beautiful, contemporary piece that looks great in my new kitchen.. Billie. Crystal Beach Tx. Tue Jul 28 2020
