After looking at thousands of patterns (unfortunately, I am not exaggerating), we decided to purchase this pattern. I actually fell in love with its sister pattern, the Nyssa, but found it to be too bulky with the round handle. This is the flat, which feels a little thin width wise at first, but we actually love it. So many compliments on it. I bought service for 16 and then ordered all of the matching fun pieces from a company out of the Netherlands so I am committed to this pattern for a while now.. Christy. Port St. Lucie, FL. I chose this silverware set for our wedding over 43 years ago and it still looks great, but pieces have disappeared. I was so happy to find it and the shiny new stuff doesn’t stand out. The old stuff held up so well that no one would ever notice the difference. It’s a great quality set and I chose it because of how it feels in the hand when using it. Solid, sturdy and easy to grip. And still looks great!. Anonymous. Sun Jun 28 2026

Very nice flatware, not too heavy, not too light.. Karen. Newton, MA. Mon May 17 2021

Curved lines distinguish this versatile pattern, and a leaf design adds a decorative touch to the end of the handles. The perfect pick for any occasion.

These visually match our original Melon Bud pieces from 20 years ago with two differences. The first and more important difference is that original sets were 188, and these are 1810. The second and barely discernible difference is while the length of the knife is the same, it has a very slightly different curvature. No one would ever be able to notice these differences on your table (it’s tough to see even with two knives in hand looking for the difference) and the pieces still feel nice in hand, which was the original appeal. Even side by side the knives are not too different. In the photos, the originals are on the left, the replacements on the right.. Katherine. Canal Winchester, OH. Tue May 19 2020

A five-piece single setting for your classic formal setup includes 1 salad/dessert fork, 1 dinner fork, 1 butter knife, 1 dinner knife, and 1 teaspoon. Stainless steel is dishwasher safe but is recommended to be maintained with hand washing methods. Lemon detergent is not recommended as this may cause corrosion. The ideal method for washing flatware is by hand for prolonged care and to avoid damage. For best results do not leave flatware soaking in water, soup, etc. for long periods of time. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent to clean and dry thoroughly before storing.

Needed the perfect wedding gift - They should have a bridal registry. Fran. Kew Gardens, NY. Thu Nov 19 2015

The collection was born from an idea by Gualtiero Marchesi, an Italian chef considered to be the founder of modern Italian cuisine: combining design and function with a new element: each piece of cutlery has a specific raison d’etre. The spaghetti spoon and fork, are a modern and fashionable couple. The tongs allow for savoring hors d’oeuvres and fried food without piercing them. The steak is set with the famous two-prong fork and the rigorously scalpel-shaped steak knife, in order not to fray the meat. The ambidextrous fish knife was created to meet the needs of a left-handed person. The philosophy that inspired the design of this series is one of the chopsticks. Handles and knobs are references to the famous Japanese object, while bowls and prongs maintain all the rich gastronomic Italian tradition in their lines.

Serve your guests in impeccable style with this flatware set. Ribbed handles make a rustic serving statement for any casual or formal gathering.

Think shape/design is beautiful. Takes a little getting used to "size" and weight of this flatware. I was surprised that the knife cutting edge is placed on the tip and not all the way down the blade...that actually gets a bit thick. Cutting banana was when I realized this. Tip of knife is fine. Overall...really like this flatware.. Wells. NM. Tue May 12 2020

Very style deco art. Linda. Mon Mar 18 2019

Eternal flatware, like classic Lenox Eternal china, takes a sophisticated approach to design with a tailored channel design. Dishwasher-safe and tarnish-free, Eternal will retain its original luster for years to come. Eternal's clean, classic lines bring a touch of elegance to everyday living.

Very well made flatware set although the finish is super shiny which results in a dirty appearance quickly upon using. I have this exact style in a frosted finish and was trying to replace some pieces that have gone missing.
