Finally found one that lasts! I want to start by saying I intentionally waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure this product truly stood the test of time before recommending it — and I’m so glad I did, because it did not disappoint! My husband has gone through so many coffee makers over the years. We could never find one that would hold up long-term. Then we got the Braun, and it has outlasted every single one before it. This little espresso machine works wonderfully. It took some time and practice on the steamer arm but once I got it down my latte is every bit as tasty as Starbucks. This machine is reasonably priced and is small which is an added benefit for my small kitchen space. I am going to purchase two small stainless steamer cups (also on Wayfair) as right now I am using a small ceramic dish (ramikin). Directions indicate to run water through first before loading the machine so everything is hot and the parts heat up. This works! I do wonder on the measuring scoop how many grams it us as it does not indicate in the manual and one cup should be 12g and two cup 16g. This is a fun little machine. This product is easy to use right out of the box. There’s two baskets for the single cup side so you can brew with grounds or a k-cup. I’ve used both and both work well. There are ridges in the water basin so you can brew small to large cups. The traditional multi-cup pot side is pretty standard with a mesh filter basket and pour in feature. When you hit brew on either side, it takes a minute to heat the water before it starts coming out but you can hear it so you know it’s doing something.
