This is my third Dyson Animal. I keep one upstairs that is 10 years old and this new stand one I am keeping downstairs. I am very satisfied with Dyson vacuums. The suction power is excellent. I like the adjustable carpet level and a longer court, which my older Dyson does not have. It is a heavier, vacuum and many others on the market, but I have found that the lighter vacuums do not have the suction power that the Dyson does, so the weight of the vacuum is of no significant consequence to me. I am a massive dyson vacuum fan, I have had a few over the years and they just keep getting better and better. The suction on the v16 is the best I have experienced so far. Love that the detect light is now standard on the vacuum head, it is so helpful to see all the dog hair. The submarine head is so unique, I have never used a vacuum feature like it. I do think it would be perfect for anyone that does an every day wet mop, because it works best on lightly soiled areas. I am concerned that when sweeping the carpet room the same route is used so May ware the carpet unevenly. I don’t understand what the red dots mean in the tracking screen and at this stage I am surprised how much maintenance the robot needs but perhaps this is because my house was needing a good clean!. I’ve never enjoyed using a vacuum cleaner so much. I know Dyson‘s are expensive, but they’re worth the money. And this being Wireless for me as a game changer!
