Overall, I’m happy with this matte black stoneware cup. It has a nice minimalist look and feels sturdy. The only downsides are that the finish isn’t perfectly smooth—there are a few light surface scratches, and the texture is a bit rough in places. Also, the bottom isn’t completely flat, so it tends to collect water in the dishwasher, which is a little inconvenient. None of these are deal-breakers, but they’re worth noting. They have a beautiful print and pattern. I purchased 12 mugs and got 12 dessert plates to go with them as a gift for my mom at Christmas. It was advertised as being made by a company named Dekota Fields in USA. I was having such a hard time finding dishes from USA so I was so excited to purchase them. When I received them, I was disappointed because they were made in China; hence, why I'm not giving the five stars. I should have probably only given three. It was misleading. The quality thought was nice. There were well packed and none of the mugs or plates arrived broken or chipped. I'm just upset I was mislead to thinking they were made in USA.
