It’s a good option for the money. I don’t want a clutter of appliances, so this works ok. I find it’s better making sandwiches than waffles. I’ve not tried the grill plates yet. The waffles are thick, Belgian style, and I really wanted traditional waffle so they get crispy. No matter how long I cook the waffles they don’t get crispy. Plates are thin but seem to work well. I thought I would like it. Didm't know I'd love it. Great nonstick, easy clean. The 1000 watt power draw doesn't overload the limited electrics in the semi. It heats quickly and toasts evenly.
