Great out of the box! It wasn’t too complicated, which I was worried about, and the app is very easy to use to designate different areas and tell the vacuum where not to go. Easily ran the first vacuum and mop, and the floors were immediately much cleaner. I love this vacuum. It works great. The only thing is the cord will get stuck in the bottom of the vacuum if you’re not careful while using. Other than that, I love it and it works so well especially cleaning up after 2 large dogs who shed a lot. (A Red Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain dog). Finally I found one that works! I love this wet/dry vacuum! I tried several other ones but they all failed quickly. This one works really well. I use it 2-3 times every day. I have pets kids, and a farm. The floor gets really messy every day. This massive vacuums and mops at the same time and doesn't get blocked like the others did. My only criticism is that the battery doesn't last long enough. But I can deal with that because the floor is clean and it self cleans afterwards. Works so good! Finally, a mop that washes itself as it cleans. My hardwood floors are not just water pushed around with a dirty mop, it rotates the brushes and rinses the mop. I may need to get a second just for my bottom floor and let them live in two places, caring for each floor while I sit at home and work remotely. I actually enjoy this vacuum very much! The lights in the front are surprisingly bright, especially in the dark. I tend to be very fast so after maybe two times going over the same spot everything is picked up. I love that it’s super easy to clean and the attachments are great too! The convenience of removing it 3 different lengths is awesome; the handle, medium for hard to reach spot, and the brushes for the floors. My only complaint is the battery. I’ve been lucky to have it vacuum my entire home (~1250 sq ft) just before it dies but I’ve noticed it’s slowly decreasing with time. I do have 4 pets (2 dogs/2 cats) so it could be I’m wearing it out fast especially when vacuuming loose litter my cats tend to leave around lol Either way I’m really satisfied with the product all together.. Between my dog that sheds and tracks dirt in and toddler on the move, I reach for this tool constantly. What I love most is how it vacuums and mops at the same time. Between dog hair, spilled snacks, and random sticky spots (thanks, toddler), I used to have to vacuum and then go back with a mop. Now it’s one pass and done, which saves a ton of time and energy. I find I am also less annoyed at cleaning messes now because I no longer have to take out an army of cleaning supplies, just the Bissel Crosswave Edge and the job is done in a few quick seconds. It handles pet hair really well on hard floors, and the mopping function actually scrubs up dried-on messes instead of just pushing them around. That’s been huge for things like juice, yogurt, or muddy paw prints. The cordless design is another big win. I can quickly grab it for a 5-minute cleanup after meals or let the toddler run around without dragging a cord everywhere. It’s easy enough that I actually clean more often instead of letting messes pile up. A couple things to keep in mind: It’s best on hard floors—it’ll do area rugs, but it’s not a deep carpet cleaner The battery lasts around 30 to 40 minutes, which I found gave me adequate time to clean all the spaces I need while not lose cleaning power. You do have to clean out the dirty water tank after each use or the black water will smell horrid if you let it sit. For a busy home with pets and kids, it’s truly the biggest game-changer.
