These trivets, sold as a set of 2, are sturdy and functional as well as decorative. Each trivet is square and has four ball feet. The ball feet raise the trivet top 3/4" off the surface you place it on. This provides ample space for airflow. Use the trivet to prevent damage to the countertop or table when you use the trivet to place hot utensils on. You can also place indoor potted plants on the trivets to allow air flow under the pots. The 8 inches square trivets are small enough not to clutter the table but strong enough to hold pots and utensils much bigger. The hand hammered look and the polished shiny finish goes with pretty much any decor!
