These dishes were ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I received so many compliments on them. I used them for Christmas and they were the added touch that I needed to make my table look exquisite. However, I had to return the dishes because they scratched so easily. The gold would come off just from handling g the dishes. I tried to convince myself that I could fix the problem and keep the dishes but when I look at the photos on the website, if you looked closely, you could see that those dishes showed some of the gold worn off. I purchased the silver, which coordinates with the amazing chandelier above this intimate vignette. The service is sturdy, and I know why they’re “HAND WASH ONLY”.
