U-Taste choose high quality silicone which has the following advantage: 1. Non-stick, food doesn’t stick to it; 2. Iit doesn’t retain flavors or odors of the food after cleaning; 3. The silicone is flexible but strong enough to deal with different food; 4. After dealing with hot food, it will cool quickly; 5. Food grade silicone is BPA Free which is non-toxic and harmless; 6. Dishwasher Safe; 7. Heat-resistant up to 600℉; 8. When stretching or distorting the surface of silicone, it will display the original color. 9. Safe for nonstick cookware. 10. We tried different degree of silicone and finally we choose the one which has just the right amount of firm and flexible. We also upgraded the core. So it is sturdier and core won't come through the spatula. Firm enough for stirring anything especially very thick mixtures. The spoon shaped spatula is very versatile. It’s great for cooking and spooning your food into serving dishes or onto plates as well as using while prepping baking goods.
