For someone who has been drinking k-cup coffee for the last few years, the coffee this machine produces is exceptional! I’d forgotten how good coffee can be! With all that said, to get a great cup of coffee with complexity of flavor, you have to put a little extra time and effort in to the process. This machine simulates the pour over process. There are a few steps and you don’t get a huge cup of coffee as a result. This is not a regular coffee maker that will make a pot of mediocre coffee that’ll probably sit for a half an hour before you get a second, stale cup.
