I am really happy with this dehydrator. It’s a great size, won’t take up a bunch of counter space but still offers a bunch of space inside the dehydrator. I attempted to make beef jerky but I’m sad to say I over-seasoned it a bit so I won’t post it, but practice makes perfect. It’s super easy to adjust the temperature level and adjust it to get that just right cook and tenderness you want. Cleaning it after is pretty simple and there’s a lot of space in there so you don’t need to worry about nooks and crannies. This is my 2nd dehydrator exactly like this..I love my current one and needed to replace one of my old basis dehydrators before the dehydration season was over. Tip: if you dehyrate alot of medicinal herbs- like I do. Cut out window screen and place on each tray. Do not cut out the center. I’m pretty happy with this so far. It came with a recipe book and I made something from it. I made 3 flavors of their bacon jerky. On the 12 trays, I could fit about 3.5 lbs because you need one tray to catch drippings. I did three flavors and I didn’t want them to mix so I had to use three shelves s drip trays. If not, I imagine I could’ve done up to 5 lbs. Easy to use. SUPER easy. Quiet. It gets hot around it so I prepared mine on a table in the garage. Looks great, too!. Abigail. The Woodlands, TX. This seems like a very nice food dehydrator. The controls are simple and straight forward and the trays are easily removed for cleaning and use. I was disappointed with the lack of clear directions included in the manual. The time listed is just a number, but I had no idea if it meant minutes or hours.
