Nice Serving Station!! I’m excited to try out my new serving station. This is the perfect slow cooker for dips. It's been hard to find the right size with a high cook setting. The 1/2 and 2/3 quart cookers are marketed for dips but if you're actually making the dip from scratch then you need a little more room to fit all the ingredients before they cook down. Also, those sizes are basically just warmers because they don't have a high cook setting. The quality is fantastic. The temperature control is labeled well and easy to use. For safety's sake, a red light illuminates while in use and the handles stay cool to the touch. The lid is great. It's clear glass and has a vent hole. I love that I can see how everything is coming together without having to lift the lid and let all the heat escape. I've only had mine for a month so I can't really vouch for durability but I do attest that mine still looks and works like brand new. I highly recommend this Nesco slow cooker. I started reading recipes as soon as I ordered this. I also ordered the reccomended accessories that go with it so I could use as soon as possible. I watched videos and couldnt wait to get it so I could start experimenting. The first thing I made was a pumpkin cheesecake and it was so easy and I loved the taste. Next I cooked bacon, and at first I thought I had done it wrong ! But after I was finished I knew I did it right and it was delicious. I will admit it takes more time, but it is so worth the extra time. Everything I have made is so good that Im not sorry about the extra time !! I got this nesco roasted form Wayfair. I use it on Thanksgiving day and it works great my turkey came out so good and moist. it can roaste a turkey 18 pounds and other meats also.
