I love this set. As sturdy as a solid bowl, yet drains as nicely as a mesh sieve (though, obviously, not as finely) I usually only cook for one, so I use the smaller one quite often. The large one has definitely come in handy for washing lettuce, or draining large pots of pasta. The only reason I did not give a five star is because the base is “tacked” on in spots which makes it easy for food to get stuck between the base and the colander.
