I love that it's a large 7 quart size because when I use a slow cooker I love to make extras so that I have leftovers. I recently cooked a pot roast in it and was able to throw in lots of carrots and potatoes because of its roomy size. This model has a unique feature of a locking lid and it's great for traveling so that nothing spills while it's in the back of your car. The lid is really nice quality and has a rubber ring around it so you can get a nice seal while cooking. It's easy to program and start in the morning so you have dinner ready later that evening. Although the main crock pot seems a bit bulky and heavy, it did not disappoint. The beans turned out flavorful and surprisingly tender, and I enjoyed setting and forgetting it as I went about my day. The smaller party dipper was actually great for warming and maintaining the stew. I know it is primarily designed to keep foods warm, but I decided to test it for reheating as well, and it worked nicely. So far I'm really enjoy the Chefspot. I've only had a chance to take it to work twice, but it's very nice to be able to just plug it in a half hour or so before I would like a hot lunch and be able to eat at my desk quickly and without a mess or a lot of fuss. I have not figured out what you're supposed to do with the handle (I just shove it down in the carrier but there's not a lot of room for it, and it would be nice to have a longer cord to plug it in (I have to put it on the floor in order to plug it in. Also, it seems better suited for soup or something that doesn't need to be cut with a knife and fork - there's not much room for maneuvering within the bowl and it only comes with a small spoon and fork (but those are super cute and really nice to have and come in their own little case). I have not tried plugging in the lunch box in the car and don't know that I will have much of a reason to in the future, but it's nice that it's an option. All in all, a really nice thing to have..
