I got a standard cocktail shaker before this and found that the top can be very difficult to remove. This Boston shaker is easier to work with in that regard. However, keep in mind that it does not come with a strainer, so you may need to buy one separately. I like the minimalist design, high quality, and easy cleanup as it's dishwasher safe.. Ellen. This is a nice looking set that I prefer to martini shaker sets. The glasses are large and the mixer glass makes 2 drinks perfectly. The metal is sturdy and seems like it will last a long time.
