I setup my new Coffee Maker and followed the “Quick Instructions.” I have never used an espresso machine before. FYI - Use the measuring cup that came with the system . Also, make sure the water tank is seated well, you will see medium sized bubbles. Always do a test on setup. The red piece with the pins sticking out of it is for cleaning not puncturing. Fast! I really like this espresso maker. It’s all silver, unlike the advertised images which had a black top. The directions are very easy to followunderstand. The espresso machine heats up really quick and then makes the shot of espresso super quick, well under 1 minute, and super hot. It’s also really easy to clean, or rinse each part as needed. I’m really happy with this espresso machine! I’ve been using it at home and honestly love it. It’s simple to use, heats up pretty quickly, and the coffee comes out really good with a nice crema on top. I also love the steam wand because I can froth my milk and make lattes at home. It took me a little practice to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was pretty easy. Another plus is how nice it looks on my counter. It has a clean, modern look without being too big or taking up a ton of space. It also feels sturdy and well made. So far, I have no complaints. I actually look forward to making my coffee in the morning now instead of buying it out.
