Happy with the induction plate so far. The only thing that is is missing is is an actual temp read out instead of pre programed selection of numbers from 1-9 where the default temp selection is 5. I purchased this to see if I would like induction cooking. We are doing a kitchen remodel and because we are solar, I wanted to go with electric. Originally I was thinking of having my kitchen piped in for gas, but why when my solar energy is such a savings. I needed a hot plate anyway to have something to cook on during the remodel. I was upgrading my cookware so I purchased the set that would work on induction (or any other head element). I am loving the induction! It heats up so fast and cooking time is faster. I really like the heavier no stick cookware for induction. This will save me time and money--especially since my house is solar! I recommend trying induction. So easy to clean. This is my first induction stove so I am still leaning about it. However, I do like the quick heating response, and the fact I know it's using less power is great. I like the flat surface that doubles as more counter work space and ease of cleaning. And so far, I have been able to use all of my cookware on the stove. It is not as selective as I was led to believe. The cycling on and off takes a bit to get used to because when the stove cycles off, it stops cooking momentarily and there is not a lot of residual heat to keep the food cooking as in radiant stoves. Also the buttons are really sensitive and when wiping up spills, it is easy to turn the stove off. Overall, I am very pleased with the stove and look forward to cooking more dishes on it..
