Item as pictured, in brand new condition, shipped quickly. Bought this to replace our early model Braun Tassimo. Love Tassimo because it is the only machine that uses all T-discs to quickly and easily make coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea, iced coffee, cappucino, latte. Even though this is a very basic model it nicely does what we need it to do and is an improvement over the old model. Can't beat the price. Pros: Great price. Improvements to older model - on/off switch in front, much more efficient use of water, water tank low profile and easy to access, quieter. Brews a delicious cup of coffee or any other beverage you may desire. Cons: Machine is sturdy enough but compared to our older model seems more plasticy and less durable. We are very pleased with the newest version of Cuisinart coffee maker. We had the previous version for several years before it gave up the ghost. LOVE this machine. It makes a great cup of coffee. Some coffees are not very hot, but that is the way they are supposed to be. If you want scalding hot coffee, put it in the microwave for 35 seconds after brewing. The crema is fabulous. If you do not like crema, this is not your machine. The machine is quieter than the Next version, but still a bit loud. However, if you go to a coffee shop, you know these types of machines are loud. There are no water leaks that I read in other reviews. The machine is sleek, and looks great on the counter. The lid opens and closes easy, which is not the case with the Next. It does not connect to the Nespresso app, but I never used that anyway. It’s simple, open the lid, put your pod in, close the lid, push the start button, and you get a great cup of coffee.
