It does a pretty good job. Things to know 1 it does smoke up the house a little. I use it under my exhaust fan. 2 do not over load the wood. To much smoke is nasty. Set up is more than easy and there aren’t a bunch of miniature pieces to clean. Personally I clean mine after each use instead of allowing the food to sit so it doesn’t create that harsh buildup around the edges. The best part about the slow cooker to me is the auto warming feature. Past appliances I’ve used, some would require that I manually change the temperature. I don’t feel pressured to have to check my meals every 5 minutes since the feature is in place. The party dipper is a hit too! I started reading recipes as soon as I ordered this. I also ordered the reccomended accessories that go with it so I could use as soon as possible. I watched videos and couldnt wait to get it so I could start experimenting. The first thing I made was a pumpkin cheesecake and it was so easy and I loved the taste. Next I cooked bacon, and at first I thought I had done it wrong ! But after I was finished I knew I did it right and it was delicious.
