The bed is nice for my son room. Only thing I recommend are more than 4 slats. I didn’t have a box spring at first since I thought it didn’t require it but you will need one. Still came out pretty nice.

Great color, instructions are easy to follow, however the two feet that get attached on the foot board do not have pre drilled holes so I had to pre drill spots for them and the screws provided are not long enough to hold the foot in place so I used 3 1/2 long screws which held great. There is also white residue from the styrofoam in the packaging that won’t come off so I am goi g to try oil to get it to come off. I believe this is from sitting in storage for a while. Over all a great bed for the price, looks great and my son loves it. I got him a new memory foam mattress but to add height we used his old box spring which gives good support as the support beams are only 4 when there should have been at least 6.

One of the headboard legs does not have thread, when I tried to hook the side rail it falls off. Also, the wood stat and the center legs are super fragile and do not support the weight of the matress
