Very hard to put together but definitely worth it! Holds a fully dressed 12 in mattress with 4 pillows and is very sturdy. Love the touch button for the LED lights, puts a higher quality touch to it. Definitely worth the money for the convenience of folding away an actual queen bed. Would highly recommend but just make sure you know how to follow directions lol

Very complicated to assemble and even more problematic the color they sent looks nothing like what I ordered.

We are so happy with this bed. It does take about 6 hours to put together and requires 2 people, so be prepared. We love the modern, clean look and quality of this Murphy bed. It is perfect for our space! Easy for 1 person to pull down and push back up. Highly suggest!

DO NOT BUY THIS BED. There is a HUGE gap behind the end of the mattress to the wall. Your pillows will fall off and anything else. The quality of construction is also poor and it looks cheap and frankly stupid with such a big gap. The mechanism is fully exposed too so at night you get to choose to stare at the metal workings or the warning stickers on the base plate on the floor where your pillows will end up.

A Nightmare Experience Despite a Decent Product I ordered the "Arlex Murphy Bed" from Wayfair on September 2, 2024, and what followed was a 3+ month saga of frustration and disappointment. The "wall bed mechanism"—you know, the part that actually makes it a Murphy bed—didn’t arrive until November, leaving me with an unfinished Murphy bed for OVER TWO MONTHS. During this time, I spent over 20 hours on the phone with Wayfair's support team, trying to make sense of delays that were entirely due to the supplier's incompetence. While the product itself is nice and functions as advertised, the experience was so awful that it gives me heart palpitations every time I walk past the Murphy bed. To make matters worse, I’m STILL missing two parts from the supplier. Stephanie C from Wayfair support was the only saving grace in this nightmare. She has been tremendously helpful and truly deserves a raise for dealing with this mess. If you're considering this product, be prepared for endless frustration, wasted time, and the need to micromanage delivery every step of the way.

Purchased this bed for my backyard "tiny" home cottage. Absolutely LOVE it! I put a 12" memory foam with inner springs mattress on and it still easily closes with a comforter and pillows on. I am an older woman and I put it together myself in half a day. I sorted and labeled all the screws first which made assembling it very easy. Reviews made me think I would have to hire someone to do it but I gave it a shot and it was quite simple. Because it is heavy I had to call a friend to help lifting the wood frame upright before I bolted it to the wall but put the railing and all else together myself. Whether closed or open it looks really Classy. Modern. Clean. Simple. Peaceful. Love it!

You need two people and a solid chunk of time to assemble this but it is well constructed and looks great in my office/guest room.
