This was a perfect fit for my needs. My plan was to replace my TV with a projector setup, and I wanted to use this console as a floating shelf over the couch to keep my projector, router and sound-bar. I was initially concerned that it might end up being too bulky and feel a little claustrophobic over my couch, but this console is the perfect size and also allows me to add a few books on the side. I ended up getting professional help to mount the shelf (mostly because it would hang over our heads), but I reckon a skilled person with the right tools could install it on their own.
