About This Product

Orrefors craftsmen and Erika Lagerbielke have long tried to fill Intermezzo's characteristic bubble with pigment. Finally, it is there, encased in crystal clear glass – a matte drop shimmering . Intermezzo Martini was designed in 1984 and goes perfectly with all types of cocktails. It is also suitable for serving small cold dishes or desserts. The glass is mouth-blown in Sweden. Designed by Erika Lagerbielke.

Features

“The Intermezzo series is about curiosity and love. All of my love for the craft of glass is sealed into the Intermezzo drop. The glasses carry a secret, a riddle shaped like an exclamation mark. Intermezzo was one of the first series I designed for Orrefors. It launched in 1985 and turned 30 in 2015. How could I ever have guessed that Intermezzo would become such a popular classic and one of the brand’s bestsellers through the years?” – Erika Lagerbielke.
The Intermezzo collection of glasses, each with an eye-catching blue drop suspended in the stem, has won the hearts of critics and consumers alike. In 1985, Orrefors won the International Tabletop Design Award for this stunning design.
