The intermezzo series is about curiosity and love. All of my love for the craft of glass is sealed into the intermezzo drop. The glasses carry a secret, a riddle shaped like an exclamation mark. Intermezzo was one of the first series I designed for Orrefors. It launched in 1985 and turned 30 in 2015. How could I ever have guessed that intermezzo would become such a popular classic and one of the brand’s bestsellers through the years? – Erika lagerbielke.
