It is very user friendly and easy to maneuver (make sure you read the manual though so you don’t make silly mistakes). Even my 8 year old is able to switch the mixing tools and attach/reattach it the mixer stand! I love how it includes 2 different speed modes for mixing precision. All you have to do it rotate the control knob. This stand came with 4 mixing attachments (whisk, dough hook, flat beater, and flex edge beater), along with a pouring shield (splatter protector). I thought about getting an ice cream maker machine and I’m so glad I got this. I read you need rock salt for machines and this bowl requires nothing. You just need to freeze it.
