This is the easiest and most effective sharpener we've ever found! It utilizes ceramic rods to restore a sharp, fine edge to cutlery, while providing and maintaining the optimum knife angle for error-free performance. To use, at a 90 degree angle, insert the knife blade into the sharpening slot. Then with moderate pressure, press down and pull the knife blade through the sharpening slot toward you. Hand wash only. Measures 7-1/2 inch long x 2 inch wide x 3 inch high.
