Dash Smartstore Stirring Popcorn Maker

Didn't work as I hoped it would. Now I have 2 one that I must have accidentally put thru.

I received my Dash popcorn popper yesterday and gave it a test run last night. It worked great. Over the years I have been using a famous maker brand with a similar stirring rod. I've had little success with any longevity with their product. The one I had previous to this Dash lasted only 6 months. The Dash feels like a better quality product and the company seems to back that up by extending the warranty an additional year just for registering my popcorn popper. It's a good start.

The popcorn popper is just what I need. Good price. Quality seems good. Shipping was slow. Delivery was terrible - FedEx left item in plain view at front of step, when there was hidden space 4 ft away, & didn't ring bell to let me know package arrived.

The amount of oil to put in it is always a mystery to me. But it works when I get it right and the popcorn is delicious.

The first couple of times I used this I didn't like it. The popcorn seemed a little soggy. I tried something different and found that the popcorn comes out great if you take the butter melter off the top of the machine and cook it so all the air can escape. the popcorn was fluffy and tasted terrific. I just melted the butter in a pan on the stove and poured it on the popcorn. I love this machine. It is so easy to use and the popcorn comes out so fluffy and perfect. I will be using this when I have people over to watch a video. Great machine. Love it.

When received the box had been previously opened and some parts removed, but the problem was corrected quickly

I have only used this twice but so far so good. Its a really cute color as well.
