Chairs are expensive so I am not surprised by the price of this one. It came fully assembled with felt covering the seat bottom. The seat is nice and soft, and very comfortable. I like the seam detail (see photo). The white seems to be a true white. The grey is more cool than warm. I think two of these would be nice at either end of a dining table.

The chair is even better than the pictures show. Excellent quality and finish. One of the nicest pieces we have gotten from Wayfair so far. Soft but firm cushioned seat is a nice satin sheen and cleans easily with water.

It is a beautiful chair. It came fully assembled and the quality is great!! Great for posture - I am using it as a desk chair - the back is a bit angled back and it feels great to lean back and relax my back and neck after seating with my back perfectly straight.
