This cooker hands down makes the best rice we've ever had. Upgraded from a zojirushi fuzzy logic cooker, this one seems to cook differently, you can taste every individual grain of rice, with more flavor. Highly recommend using the Japanese grains like koshikihari. I tell all my friends to get this thing.

Want perfection in rice (nurung-jee, fluffy rice, sticky rice, all kinds of varieties), look no further than this Cuckoo for the highest quality time after time! This is my second Cuckoo rice cooker owned of this model type (owned a black one for many years, still kept it as a secondary) and love my new white model. I highly recommend this rice cooker - it not only cooks perfect rice but I've made castella cake, and a range of meals with it. Cuckoo is my go-to brand and has well thought out functions, settings, and it's stylish too. As an American with a love affair for Korean rice and all Korean foods, this rice cooker is well worth the investment for years to come!
