We are really enjoying this knife set. The block is the perfect size, quality is superb and the knives are super sharp. The friends and family sale made this purchase a great deal and product was as described. This was the perfect edition to my kitchen tool kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice set of basic knives. Every knife you will need for an everyday kitchen. I love the fact that as you slide them in and out of the block it sharpens them. They are hand wash only, but worth it to keep them nice.

Super sharp and is cool that it sharpens evertime that I remove a knife from the Block. Makes a beautiful addition on my counter top. The scissors cut well and so handy for everyday uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this Calphalon Premier 7 piece knife set for a while now, and I find this set to be very well-balanced. It's fits well in my hand, is very sharp, and stays that way with its spring-loaded sharpener. The block is very well made. Nice looking on my countertop. Cleaning is as easy as a wipe with a sanitized cloth. The only thing I would change is removing the paring knife and kitchen shears and replacing it with a boning knife, but that's just me. My conclusion is that it's worth every doller.
