The cushions are vacuum-compressed for packaging. Before installation, please firmly pat the cushions to help the silk cotton quickly expand and fill the entire cushion. It usually takes 2-3 days for cushions to fully plump up to optimal state.

However because it is long and the frame doesn’t come apart, it didn’t fit in our basement that has a 32” door and a tight corner. YOU NEED TO LET IT EXPAND FOR AT LEAST 2 DAYS!! It comes in a remarkably compressed state, and it won't be it's maximum firmness until it's finished expanding for at least 48 hours. It's very comfortable, and very lightweight especially given how firm it ends up being! Replaced a traditional couch with this and it's already much better.
