I bought this bed due to it not needing a box spring, I tend to prefer not having one, so that is a nice perk. The platform definitely does its job and seems pretty good. I love that it has Velcro to keep everything from sliding around. The bed itself is a small pain to put together but not too too bad. I will say, I included photos because while the bed is very pretty, it really doesnt look a ton like the photo on the listing. this is the second item I have ordered and doesn’t look anything like the pictures. On the thumbnail it looks very posh and lux, but its very basic in real life. Not to say it looks bad, because its still pretty, but don’t be expecting the look of the photo. I do like that the headboard is tall enough that even if you have lots of pillows, theres still room for the headboard to show. It certainly isnt the sturdiest bed lve ever had, its given me a couple of pauses so far but no actual issues. This bed frame worked perfectly for our specific needs. We got 2 other bed frames before this one and they both didn’t work out. One was too big for our room even though the bed frame fit and looked good. Another was too small that our tempurpedic adjustable base did not fit inside of it. This one is simple and fit perfectl. The King Size Upholstered Linen Headboard with Storage, Charging Station and LED Light arrived with each part nicely wrapped in plastic. The directions were 99% pictures with a few words on some steps. Assembly took a lot longer than my husband and I anticipated it would, which is why I didn't take any pictures of the assembly process. There is one step early on that says to not tighten the screws all the way until step 8. But once you get to step 8, it is difficult to tighten those screws with the allen wrench as there is not much room to actually turn the wrench. We have an adjustable Sleep Number bed, so we were not able to use the included brackets to attach the headboard to the frame of our bed. But the headboard does fit nicely between the bed and the wall and is stable without being attached to the frame, and it still allows us to raise the head of our bed without affecting the headboard. We downloaded the app for the lights, and it works nicely and you can have the lights come on and turn off at a set time through the app. We ended up using the USB-A slot in the charging station to plug the LED lights into, instead of running the plug for the lights behind the headboard as we didn't have an open outlet behind the headboard after plugging in our bed and the headboard plug. Which works fine for us and currently we don't have anything else sitting in the storage area on the headboard.
