This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. The design career of Verner Panton reached its first peak toward the end of the 1950s. With a furniture series based on simple geometric shapes, Panton anticipated elements of Pop Art, while also emulating the elegance of Scandinavian Modernism in the execution of the bases. The most famous designs from this series are the Cone Chair and the Heart Cone Chair. The Heart Cone Chair takes its name from its heart-shaped silhouette. The extended wings of the backrest are reminiscent of Mickey Mouse ears, but can also be interpreted as a contemporary development of the classic wingback chair.

This single armchair brings a handsome mid-century modern aesthetic to your living room or den. Featuring both adjustable armrests and a reclining backrest, it allows you to freely switch between sitting, lounging, and relaxing. The premium leather surface adds timeless elegance while the sturdy metal legs ensure durability, making it a versatile centerpiece for any modern home.

I am in love with this versatile chair and the personality it brings to my living room! The Wayfair pics make it look moden and sleek but mine is kinda goofy looking, especially as for everyday space I keep the arms tucked down. This goofiness suits my MCMboho and a lil bit quirky home but I think this could make itself at home in a variety of interiors. Assembly was legs screwed on and back slotted into place, I couldn’t manage getting both backrest fixings slotted at the same time on my own so will have to wait until I have a friend visit to help..
