I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together. The hardest part was the height of the roof and the reach needed to attach some screws. None of the work is challenging. It just requires some basic construction skills and teamwork (patience).. I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. However, we have had it standing in our deck for a few months now, and it holds up very well to rain and strong winds. It sagged in the middle at first, but when screwed in place to the deck, the header straightens right up. The brackets are heavy duty metal, fastened through pre-drilled holes in the treated wood. Roof rafters had some tweaking to get right. Overall really good product! Looks great! Roof packaging took a little bend at bottom corner but we were able to hide them.
