A slightly different take on the willow edging commonly used in European gardens, this woven willow hurdle border is created from willow that has been debarked and undergone a carbonization process. This results in a light-colored willow border. Use them outdoors to define garden areas, walkways and more. They are held up with sturdy legs that can be pushed easily into the ground. 8 inches of woven area and 6 inches of legs. Due to the natural material and the carbonization process, color WILL vary. Color can range from nearly white to golden brown. Install by pushing the attached stakes into the ground. You can attach multiple pieces together using zip ties or galvanized wire. If you would like additional support, you can utilize garden stakes, and affix the panels to those again using zip ties or galvanized wire.

This fencing consists of thick bamboo shoots connected with thin metal rods. The 6 by 8 fencing weighs over 80 pounds so it was somewhat difficult to handle. It does not come with any way to attach it to posts or support. My goal was to zip tie the fencing to metal posts along my property line so that I could cover the view of the side of my neighbor’s garage. I hoped to add a decorative touch to my garden area. Getting the fencing unboxed and set up required two people because of the weight. It is well made but it didn’t really solve my particular problem. I’m unsure how I’ll use the fencing now. It’s too heavy to move around easily. I’m also concerned it won’t hold up well to Chicago winter weather. Be prepared to figure out a way to support the fencing. For what it is, it’s well made..
