I really needed a boost up to get onto my porch swing! The reason being that my balcony is on the second floor overlooking a lake. But, I’m short so I needed to raise the swing high enough to see the view, but then couldn’t climb onto the swing! Funny situation. I saw these steps and knew they would be perfect and they are. They are sturdy enough for confidence, and cute, too. Bonus, my dachshund uses them as well, to get onto the swing with me!. Kathleen. Nashville, TN. Tue Aug 25 2026

Packing and delivery was great, pieces look well made, but the 12 +2 JCBCW Screws are too large for ALL of the holes, and it cannot be assembled. Very disappointed since this was the last piece to be added to my new bedroom arrangement. Not sure what to do, can correct screws be sent? Other than that, I was impressed with the quality. After discussing with my carpenter, I was able to assemble with no problems after lubricating each screw before use. Turned out perfect!!. Anonymous. Portsmouth, NH. Sun Jul 05 2026

Very nice all wood (cedar maybe?) stool that looks nice enough for the living room. We just needed a small stool in a couple of spots to have a way to reach up and pull the shades down, so this design fit the need perfectly. There was only one small problem, the top of one of the two units had a noticeable large gouge in the top. We are going to keep it anyway since it will not affect the useability as an occasional stepstool for a little additional reach. Thank you to Millwood Pines!. Richard. Woodridge, IL. Sun Jul 26 2026

Delivered in sturdy packing. On time. Nice bench. Seems sturdy. Took me about 45 minutes to unpack and assemble by myself. I thought the bench legs could have fit the corners of the bench seat better. Looks fine The bolts were long and fit the pre-drilled holes ok. I hand tightened and then used a shorter hex tool to tighten the rest. The Allen wrench provided was too long to reach and tighten the bolts.. Mm. Bethesda, MD. Thu Oct 08 2026

This was a really nice piece of furniture. I purchased it because I bought a new mattress that turned out to be too tall, and I couldn't get into bed. :) But even though it worked well, that wasn't for me so I had to return it and also exchange the mattress for a "not so tall" one. But... if you need such an item, I recommend this one. Return was easy.. Barbara. Ballwin, MO. Thu Aug 20 2026

Versatile functionality as a step stool, bed steps, plant stand, or accents.

The number one benefit of this step stool is that I did not have to put it together. It arrived ready to use, which immediately made me feel like I had made excellent life choices. And it is sturdy as hell. An elephant could stand on this thing. I’m not kidding. I’m not recommending you invite an elephant into your home for testing purposes, but if one happened to wander in and needed to reach the top shelf, I think we’d all be fine. It feels solid, well-made, and dependable — not wobbly, not flimsy, not one of those “please say a prayer before stepping up” situations. It’s attractive, functional, and makes me feel slightly taller and much more competent. Great step stool. Zero assembly. Built like a tiny wooden fortress.. Bc. Scottsdale. Mon Jun 22 2026
