Overall, the wall units look nice in our living room (we bought two). Each took my wife and I about two hours to assemble. Instructions were thorough, but you really need to be careful and double check every step. After we completed the assembly, we noticed that the part eight and nine (middle) shelves were installed upside down on one of the units. Also, the round stickers provided to cover the locking screws are very flimsy. They are just sticky paper that has very little surface area with which to adhere. We ended up using Elmer’s glue to keep them down. Other than the shelf inside the cabinet, none of the other shelves are adjustable. Also, I certainly would not place anything too heavy on the shelves (like lots of hardcover books) as they do not appear Capable of providing sufficient support without bending.. Tom. Bluffton, SC. Purchased two of these and they went together pretty easily! 30-some YO female and I assembled entirely alone save for grabbing help to lift them upright. Getting the doors to align was a little fickle, the right one was tricky for both units. Overall they’re beautiful and I’m excited to use them. For their purpose as a temporary solution, 5 stars. I LOVE these bookcases. They’re sturdy. They’re cute as hell. And I’m about to fill them up!!! However… it took me a full day to build the first one because I had to CONSTANTLY drill my own holes in the wood. It made it so difficult. It was the worst. Traumatized me before building the second. The second one was fine. Took me like 2 hours.. Natalie. Cypress, TX. Mon Sep 14 2026
