For what this is,, an inexpensive, tall narrow bookcase, it is decent. It is very hard to find the case the arrow so I was glad for it. But it’s definitely laminate MDF wood. For the price in the particular use, I needed it for it works really well. Also, I wasn’t sure if I would like the black interior, but it’s actually nice and makes it look a little more expensive than if it was all fake walnut MDF on the inside.. Leslie. Valley Village, CA. I bought the taller one, 5 shelf, in brown and two of the smaller one, 3 shelf, in gray. **The 5 shelf case was better quality. The backing was partical wood pieces like the rest of the case. All of the wood pieces were laminated (vinyl) on both sides (even the bottom) with exceptions to some edges that do not show from any angle. This was important because I wanted it to go sideways under my rack of plants to give it some height. Also the little adhesive circles that cover the metal parts was made out of the laminate material and stuck quite nicely. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the brown 5 shelf case. ** The 3 shelf case was not great. The backing was one piece of thick cardboard (Like you usually find in this type of case) instead of particle wood. Many pieces were only finished on one side. If it was meant to be an under side, it did not have the PAPER laminate. Two problems, when taking off the number stickers, it took the finish off as well and when I flipped one of the two (I wanted to stack in L shape) on its side, all the under sides are unfinished. The little adhesive cover up circles were made of paper material and barely stick. One of the boxes, they were all bent so they do not lay flat or stick well. Two stars ⭐️⭐️ for the gray 3 shelf case.. Bobbiejo. US. Thu Oct 08 2026

This modular shelf supports up to 132 lbs on the top surface and 22 lbs per cube—engineered for everyday reliability without compromise.

Cubes are not all the same and these cubes are the worst I’ve purchased. The instructions made assembly more complicated than necessary, mostly because the pictures weren’t clear and didn’t represent the proper sides (e.g., both sides look the same in the photos but are very different). The quality is poor for two main reasons: the finish cracked off at the edges of every screw, and the rear panels were bowed and didn’t fit properly into the grooves. Two stars because it’s functional.. Melissa. Newcastle, WA. Wed Oct 21 2026
