I must admit this took a while to build, but it did help to have my handy-dandy drill bit. I strongly recommend to use one if you’re going to build, especially if you’re building alone. It feels like good material and it withstood my weight once I sat on it. Pleased with this bench! It does have a slight gap, and I'm not sure if that was on me or the manufacturer.. Eloina. Let’s return this bench. Obviously this has been opened and rummaged around in. There are dirty spots all over it as well as loose stitching. And two numerous threads hanging for me to photo. I did not opt to order an open box item but this is what I got. If it had been clean, I would return it anyway, because of the poor quality of the fabric workings but the fact that it’s soiled and looks used already took the cake.. Carol. Rancho Mirage, CA. The 5 stars are for the excellent customer service that Wayfair provides. The storage bench is not as well made as I would expect it to be (perhaps 3.5 to 4 stars) since it does look nice just material used is cheap. The first one I received had a broken leg, the top thin plastic cover that protects the cushion was ripped which left a small stain and the hinge was broken on the left side. I attached a picture of the leg. Upon contacting Wayfair customer service they promptly took care of it. The replacement I received is in perfect shape. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to put additional packaging around the legs to keep them from breaking and to use a stronger plastic wrap to protect the top cushion. What is currently used seems to be saran wrap.. Teresa. Belmont, MA. Sat Jul 02 2016

This bench is BEAUTIFUL! The leather is soft and unscathed, the boucle pillow top is comfy and attractive. I love the 2 leather belts that hold the pillow top on the bench, they add such personality to the look. The legs were super easy to put on. It is a little smaller than what I had imagined. This is a pricey bench, wish it would’ve been a little bigger for the price, or a little cheaper. Still thrilled with it though.. Rhonda. Oskaloosa, IA. Sat Aug 22 2026

The cutest bench for my breakfast nook! Super easy to put together!. Jenna. Swanville, ME. Fri Sep 04 2026

Crafted from solid wood, this versatile entryway bench combines timeless farmhouse style with practical everyday storage. The spacious 63-inch seat offers a comfortable place to sit while changing shoes, and the lower shelf keeps footwear or daily essentials neatly organized. Built with a sturdy frame and rustic wood grain finish, this shoe storage bench works beautifully in the entryway, hallway, bedroom, dining room, or at the end of the bed, adding both warmth and functionality to your home.

The bench is beautiful, and the colour is just like the photo. However, when people sit on the bench especially the middle, it sinks quite a bit and looks very weak. We will have to buy a piece of wood or something to put in the middle to help this which is discouraging considering the price we paid. We feel returning this bench and replacing it with something different is more effort than adding a piece of wood but if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have gotten this bench knowing what I know now..
